Once retained by a client, we work closely with each client to define specific objectives, develop a time line to meet those objectives, and identify and research key issues including potential problems and roadblocks. We will also work with each client to define and standardize best practices to streamline the client's efforts in investing in an emerging market.

• Identify a country's power centers, such as its bureaucracy, media, and civil society, and figure out if there are checks and balances in place.
• Assist in determining how decentralized the political system is, if the government is subject to oversight, and whether bureaucrats and politicians are independent from one another.
• Obtain reliable information about consumers in the local market.
• Identify attractive labor markets including skilled labor and managers.
• Research local export/import regulations and security regulations.
• Navigate local customs including local business practices and cultural norms.
